Bio

I am a fully qualified Maths teacher living near Cambridge, UK. I am originally from the Lake District but I also lived in Vancouver for a year in 1999/2000. Unfortunately I am suffering from a long term illness at the moment (ME/CFS) and I am trying to piece my life back together after being ill since 2003. I've been having CBT for the last year and have just recently been discharged from it. This helped my illness to level out at around 60-70% but I have now had a major relapse and I am pretty much completely bedridden again.

Friends are important to me, especially those that are more than just ordinary friends. In fact I am planning to move up to Derby when I can manage it and find somewhere to live up there so I can be closer to my closest and very special friend

I can be insecure and quite vulnerable at times but I am working hard on getting back to being the real me again. I'm kind of goth in the style of clothing that I choose to wear but I don't really fit into any group etc., I'm just me. I'm very open minded and love getting to know new people no matter who they are. My journal has a lot of filters as some of the posts are very personal and private, and the entire journal is friends only.
